Carles Font-Rossell has served as the Permanent Representative of Andorra to the United Nations since September 11, 2007. In this capacity, Font-Rossell also serves as Andorra’s ambassador to the US.
Font-Rossell received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the European University of Barcelona, Spain. From 1996 to 1999, he served as a member of the Parish Council of Canillo. From 2003 to 2005, he was the chairman of the country’s Rugby Federation. From 2005 until his current appointment, Font-Rossell was Andorra’s Minister of Youth and Sports.
Font-Rossell also owns several hotels in Andorra and speaks four languages.
