Iran does not maintain an Embassy in the US, however Iran does have an Interests Section in the Pakistani Embassy in the US. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations is Mohammad Khazaee. A former member of Iran’s parliament and, for 13 years, Iran’s representative to the World Bank, Khazaee assumed his responsibilities at the UN on July 18, 2007.
