I am not sure if you will receive this message Ambassador but I will still attempt to send it. My name is Gabrielle Moore. After reading this bio, I was excited to find that you studied french. I likewise majored in French when I attended college. Purpose for writing. I have an 8 year old granddaughter by the name of Mariah Green. Black History month will soon be upon us and we always recognize black heroes who have made a difference. I suddenly thought why not allow my granddaughter to research and write about the famous heroes in her own family. Nimrod Nesbitt of Woodruff, South Carolina, son of the slaveholder, himself was a fairly wealthy man at his death. he was also able to assist other African Americans to resettle at the end of slavery. From his start, we have had politicians, writers, musicians, teachers...HEROES. I would like to have Mariah share about you this year. I am a Nesbitt family historian. Your dad and I collaborated a lot. It is too bad that we didn't get to finish. Wishing you well and thanking you in advance for representing with great dignity our family and our country. Sincerely, Ms Gaye Moore
