Federal Court Will Sell CD Copies of Health Care Reform Oral Arguments
Friday, June 03, 2011
A special CD will go on sale next week in Atlanta, Georgia. Producers are not expecting it to make the Billboard Top 100.
The CD will have on it the oral arguments pertaining to a legal challenge to the federal health care reform law by the State of Florida. Ordinarily such a recording is not made at judicial hearings, but a three-judge panel from the 11th Circuit has decided to make an exception for this case.
Those interested in purchasing the limited edition CD will have to pay $26 to the court clerk’s office.
At issue is a clause in the health care law that requires most Americans to purchase health insurance.
