Charlie Hyland checks in a shipment of 3.5 million Lego pieces
Having built the world’s largest model airplane and won an award for creating a plastic garden, James May of the United Kingdom has now turned his sights on constructing a full-size house out of Lego bricks. The co-star of the popular British auto TV show Top Gear, May is planning to build a two-story home in the middle of the Denbies Wine Estate, in Dorking, complete with a staircase and indoor plumbing. “I’ve got a man working on a flushing Lego lavatory,” May told the British media. “We think it’s possible.” With the help of some volunteers and about 3.5 million Lego bricks shipped from the Czech Republic, May expects to complete the home, and live in it for several days.
